How it works

Batch captions in 4 steps

  1. 1

    Add files

Click Batch on Projects and pick your videos or audio files.

  2. 2

    Set everything once

Language and names, template and clean-ups, reframe, sound cleanup, jump cuts, bleeping, format, resolution, folder and subtitle files.

  3. 3

    Preview one

The Preview step transcribes one file and plays it with its captions. Switch templates there and see it at once.

  4. 4

    Run it

A live list shows each file's stage and progress, with Show and Open project when done.

The details

What you get

Every editor setting

Batch runs the editor's own pipeline, so anything you can do to one video, you can do to fifty.

Preview work is reused

The preview file's transcript is reused when the batch runs.

Fine-tune any file after

Each file is saved as a project, so you can open one and fix a word or a style.

Stop and continue

Cancel stops cleanly and finished files stay. Continue picks up the rest; failed files can be retried.

Nothing overwritten

A file name already taken gets a number added.

Names spelled right

Add names and terms once and every file is transcribed with them.

Try it free, export with Pro

On the Free plan you can set up batch captions, preview it and hear it. When you export, Captixa lists the Pro features in use: upgrade, or export without them. Nothing in your project is switched off.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Contact us and a real person will reply.

Can I batch audio files?

Yes. Audio files are captioned on a plain frame, just as in the editor.

Do I have to wait for all files to finish?

No. Each file shows Show and Open project as soon as it is done. Cancel any time; finished files stay and Continue picks up the rest.

Will it overwrite my exports?

No. If a name is already taken, a number is added.

Is it on the Free plan?

You can set up a batch and preview it on the Free plan. Running it needs Captixa Pro.
