Export an MP4 up to 4K, or an SRT file

Burn the captions into an MP4 at the resolution you need, or save a standard SRT subtitle file.

Export a video

  1. Click Export video (Ctrl+E).
  2. Choose the resolution: Source, 720p, 1080p, 2K or 4K. Captions are drawn at the output size, so text stays sharp.
  3. Choose where to save. You get an MP4 (H.264 video, AAC audio) with the captions burned in.

On Windows, Captixa uses an NVIDIA or Intel GPU to export faster. Any computer can export on the CPU; it just takes a little longer at 2K and 4K.

Export an SRT

Click the SRT button (Ctrl+Shift+S) to save a standard subtitle file from the same transcript, ready to upload to YouTube.
