Work on the timeline

See every caption against your video's filmstrip and waveform, and seek, zoom, split and delete.

The Captixa timeline, under the preview, shows three tracks: your video as a filmstrip, the caption track, and the audio waveform.

  • Seek: click anywhere on the timeline, or press Space to play and pause.
  • Nudge: the arrow keys move the playhead 1 second; hold Shift for 5.
  • Zoom: Ctrl + scroll wheel, or the zoom buttons.
  • Edit: split or delete a caption from the timeline toolbar, and undo any change.
