Install Captixa on Windows or Mac
Download the right installer, get past the first-launch security prompt, and open Captixa for the first time.
Start tutorialLoad a video, transcribe it, pick a caption style and export: the whole workflow, start to finish.
Every Captixa project follows the same four steps: Load, Transcribe, Style, Export.
On the home screen, click New project, then drop a video onto Drop a video here or browse for one. MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, WMV and FLV all work. Captixa reads the file where it is and never copies it.
In the Media tab, check the spoken language (or leave it on auto-detect) and click Transcribe. Every word gets its own start and end time.
Open Templates and click a preset, such as TikTok Viral, Hormozi Style or Karaoke. Then fine-tune it in Text, Layout, Highlight and Motion. Drag the caption on the preview to move it.
Click Export video (Ctrl+E), pick a resolution from Source up to 4K, and save. Want a subtitle file instead? Click the SRT button (Ctrl+Shift+S).
On the Free plan you can caption 5 videos a day, each up to 2 minutes, and exported videos carry a small Captixa.com watermark. Captixa Pro removes the limits and the watermark.
